Late Start
Chapter 7
Luke managed to stay out of trouble for a good long while. Surprisingly, so did Chloe. All her grandparents had to do was threaten to call Luke’s mom and she straightened up immediately. Luke and Chloe were madly in love with each other. Luke’s mom figured it wouldn’t last long because of their differing personalities and the fact that high school relationships in general are short-lived and full of drama. But they surpassed her expectations, and she thought of Chloe as a part of the household now. Chloe’s grandparents had even given Luke’s mom full permission to spank Chloe, although fortunately the girl was smart enough not to give her reason to.
Over the Winter break, she had told Luke that she needed to go to her hair appointment and that she would be gone for a few hours. However, while she was on her way, she received an apologetic phone call from the stylist she had an appointment with. She had come down with a respiratory infection and would need to reschedule. Luke’s mom was disappointed, but she understood. She turned her car around and headed back home.
When she pulled into the driveway, she noticed Chloe’s bicycle nearby, which meant Chloe was there at the house. She was welcome to come by anytime, but Luke hadn’t mentioned anything about her coming over. When Luke’s mom entered the house, she heard moaning sounds coming from Luke’s room.
She winced at how awkward this was. She knew exactly what was going on. She wished she could just quietly creep away and pretend like she didn’t know anything, but she knew it would be irresponsible of her to do that. She was a mother and she had to instill discipline. She snuck away quietly, but only so she could retrieve the paddle.
She had always known that Luke and Chloe would start having sex eventually, but they had both promised her that they would have a talk with her about it first so they could discuss things like STDs and pregnancy. As a single mother herself, she didn’t want these two to ruin their lives over a stupid mistake.
With the paddle in hand, she flung open Luke’s bedroom door. They both instantly separated and turned to look at her. “Mom! We’re naked!” exclaimed Luke. His mom nodded. “Yes, I can clearly see that. I also clearly remember both of you promising not to have sex until we had a discussion about it first.”
“I didn’t want to talk about that with you!” said Luke. “It’s so awkward and embarrassing.”
“Well the two of you look pretty awkward and embarrassed right now,” said his mom. “If you aren’t mature enough to have a serious conversation about sex, then you aren’t mature enough to be having sex. Luke, I’m obviously going to spank you. Chloe, you can get dressed and go home, but I will be having a conversation with your grandparents about this.”
“Please don’t!” said Chloe. “They’re super conservative and judgemental about this stuff. They might kick me out of the house. Please, I would rather take the same punishment Luke is getting.”
Luke’s mom shrugged. “Have it your way. I will paddle both of you then, and I won’t tell your grandparents. Both of you, bend over and grab the bed frame.” Luke and Chloe bent over. Luke’s right hand was grasping the bed frame in the same spot as Chloe’s left hand. The two interlocked hands for mutual support. Luke’s mom noticed that both of their butts were completely unblemished, bearing no signs of any recent spanking. That would soon change. “Both of you, stick your butts out for me.”
“How many are we getting?” asked Luke. “You don’t need to worry about that,” replied his mother. “I will let you know when you’re done.” She lifted up the paddle and gave it a mighty swing. She slammed it across Luke’s buttocks hard enough to make a memorable first impression. Then she did the same to Chloe.
She then gave Luke two licks, and then Chloe another two. She then upped the amount again and gave an additional three licks to Luke, and then did the same to Chloe. Both of them had now had six each, and both were sobbing profusely and begging her to stop. She gave four more to Luke, and then another four to Chloe.
“I think that’s enough,” she said, setting the paddle down. “You two can stand up and put some clothes on. It’s time we had that serious talk.”
What followed was an awkward few hours, at the end of which Luke and Chloe decided to hold off on having sex once they truly understood the magnitude of responsibility involved. This wouldn't last forever, and they eventually would resume an intimate relationship.
They dated all through high school. During their sophomore year of college, they got engaged to be married. Luke's mom and Chloe's aging grandparents were excited for them.
One day, when Luke's mom went with Chloe to pick out a wedding dress, she asked Chloe what the two of them might like for a wedding present. She was unprepared for the answer she received.
"Luke and I have actually already talked about this," said Chloe. "We want the paddle that you used on us so we can keep each other in line."
That was definitely not an answer that Luke's mom could have ever predicted, but it made her happy nonetheless. "That's a wonderful idea," she said. "Of course you can have it."
